Worship Ministry
God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

It is indeed right, our duty, and our joy that we gather faithfully for worship. Together, we hear God's word proclaimed, receive the sacrament of holy communion, and go forth to live each day as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Worshiping is a sign of our gratitude for all the blessings God has given to us, and a way in which we witness to others our faith in God.
HOLY COMMUNION is celebrated at every service with the exception of our midweek Lenten services and Good Friday. All are welcome to receive communion regardless of church membership. Children, regardless of their age, are also invited to receive communion upon the approval of the parent and pastor.
SPECIAL SERVICES throughout the year include:
Christmas Eve - 4:00, 7:00, & 10:00 p.m.
Mid-week Lenten - Wednesday at 4:00 & 6:15 p.m.
Maundy Thursday - 6:15 p.m.
Good Friday - 6:15 p.m.
Easter: Sunrise at Retreat Center - 7:00 a.m.
Festival at church - 10:00 am
Our Easter sunrise service begins outdoors with the reading of the gospel, and then continues inside the Lodge.
There is coffee and sweet rolls offered at this service.
OUTDOOR SERVICES: We gather at Saint John Retreat Center for a service at least once a month during June through September. If the weather is permitting, our services are held outside the Lodge.
