Youth Ministry (ARK)

ARK (Kindergarten through 5th grade) In 2010, we had a change in our Christian education for elementry children. We moved from Sunday morning to Friday after school (3:15-5:00) and renamed this education time - ARK. ARK is open to all children in the Bellevue community and we currently have over 50 children participating each week. We begin with a snack and then move to our small groups where the bible story is introduced. Then we gather together for music and watching one of the groups acting out the story. This is followed by activity time and closing prayer. Children are always looking forward to Fridays and ARK!

Vacation Bible School (VBS) (Kindergarten through 6th grade) Together with the First Presbyterian Church, we host a community VBS ministry. This occurs at the end of July and is held in the evening from 5:15 to 8:15 (a meal is served at 5:15). VBS starts on Sunday and concludes with a program on Thursday. The 5th and 6th graders gather at Saint John Retreat Center while the other youth gather at the host church.
